I'm a Venezuelan software engineer who's been fascinated by computers and systems since childhood. That curiosity led me to pursue a degree in Computer Engineering at Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, where I built the foundation for what became a decade-long career in software development.
In 2017 I relocated to Santiago, Chile, where I joined Mediastream — a video streaming company — and discovered my passion for building scalable, high-impact systems. From there, I went on to work at Cencosud, MercadoLibre, and Walmart Chile, progressively taking on more complex technical challenges in data engineering and distributed systems.
In 2025 I completed a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence at UNIR (grade 8.5/10), where my thesis project PALS — a personalized adaptive learning system — combined NLP, psychometrics, and neural networks to democratize access to quality education for Chilean students.
Beyond my day job, I build products. Nimbu is a property management SaaS platform I created for the Chilean market, and I'm always exploring new ideas at the intersection of AI and real-world problems.
Today, I'm a Staff Software Engineer at Checkr, where I continue pushing the boundaries of what's possible with data-driven engineering. I believe in writing elegant code, leading with empathy, and building things that matter.
